Penn State, Purdue and UCLA Claim Women’s Soccer Weekly Awards

Offensive Player of the Week
Nicole Crane, Penn State
R-Fr. – F – Glen Rock, N.J.
• Posted a seven-point week with three goals and an assist
• Recorded the 26th hat trick in Penn State history against Brown
• Added an assist in the 69th minute versus Bucknell
• Last Penn State Offensive Player of the Week: Aubrey Kulpa (Aug. 18, 2026) 

Defensive Player of the Week
Tanna Schornstein, Purdue
Jr. – D – San Diego, Calif.
• Held down the backline while the Boilermakers scored eight unanswered goals
• Part of a defense that limited opponents to 11 shots with only five on goal
• Chipped in on offense with a goal against Southern Indiana
• Helped Purdue remain undefeated in non-conference play with the first 5-0-1 record since 2000
• Last Purdue Defensive Player of the Week: Nicole Kevdzija (Aug. 31, 2021) 

Goalkeeper of the Week
Mackenzie Gress, Penn State

• Posted a pair of shutouts against Bucknell and Brown

Freshman of the Week
Molly Hale, UCLA
MF – Ottawa, Ont., Canada  
• Scored two goals in a 95-second span to lead UCLA to a comeback win over Santa Carla
• Connected on the game-tying and game-winning goals to hand the Broncos their first loss of the season
• First Bruin freshman to record a brace since 2021
